We have compiled a very simple 4 step quick guide on what is the application process with Mountain Sky Realty and what can you expect from it.

1. Fill out an Application

You can apply to us directly by simply clicking apply now. If you are planning to have a roommates that are 18 years old and up, or a co-signer they will need to have to perform the same process.

Make your application stand out! We do highly encourage to have the following ready, the more, the better:

  • Photo Identification
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Background Information
    • Employment or Income Information
    • Landlord References
    • Professional References
  • Previous address
  • Pets (we do charge a pet fee, pricing depends on the apartment)
  • Emergency contacts

2. Application Screening

Once we received your application. We will run a pre-screening before we move forward with the next screening. Pre-screening takes 2-3 business days.

You will receive an e-mail from Mountain Sky Realty requesting for your approval to run a background and credit screening. We charge a non-refundable $30 fee once the entire application is approved.

Note: If your application is not approved. You will not be charged for a $30 fee.

This is a very important phase of your application. This process takes additional 2-5 business days.

3. Showing and Payment

You have passed the rental applications process! We will a schedule showing of the apartment you have applied so you can get the feel of your next Mountain Sky Home looks like. Typically, this is where you can sign the lease.

Please prepare your first month, last month, and security deposit.

4. Congratulations! You now have your Mountain Sky Home.
